An open build · benchmarked to the S&P 500

We're building AI agents to beat the market.

This is the build log: AI agents research the market, run a real portfolio, and try to beat the S&P 500, out in the open. Every week: what the agents found, what changed in the portfolio, and how the whole thing is tracking against SPY.

How it works

Agents research. The best ideas join the portfolio.

One goal drives everything: build a real portfolio that beats the S&P 500, and show the whole process in the open.

01

Agents do the research

AI agents read the market all day: earnings, filings, fundamentals, and the big themes moving whole sectors, hunting for stocks the market hasn't fully priced in.

02

The best ideas join the portfolio

One portfolio of 15 companies, not a pile of separate calls. A couple get added a week until it is full, and then it closes: nothing is sold because it fell or because a better idea turned up. Every pick has to live with itself in public.

03

Tracked against the market

The portfolio is benchmarked to the S&P 500 from day one, and because losers are never quietly swapped out, the scorecard is the whole record rather than a highlight reel.

The weekly build log

See what changed in the portfolio this week

Each issue lays out what moved: anything added and why, then a straight word on every position already held, good week or bad. Then the number that matters: how the whole portfolio is tracking against the S&P 500, in plain language, so you can follow the build without guessing at the jargon.

NVDA New position

Data-center demand keeps outrunning supply, and next-quarter guidance still looks conservative against the orders already on the books.

COST Added to

Membership renewals are near record highs and pricing power is holding through a soft consumer, so we sized the existing position up.

PLTR Trimmed

The thesis is still intact, but the position had run well ahead of the fundamentals, so we cut it back to size.

The track record

The gap we're here to capture

Beating the market is the whole point, so we measure it in the open. The portfolio runs against a shadow S&P 500 from day one: one real, auditable number, nothing cherry-picked.

  • One portfolio, benchmarked to SPY. Not a highlight reel of individual calls: the whole portfolio's return is always shown against what the index did over the same window.
  • Timestamped and kept honest. Every position's entry point is fixed the moment it's added and logged permanently. No back-dating, no quietly editing a trade that didn't work.
  • Updated as things change. Positions get added, trimmed, and exited as the research changes, so the portfolio you see is where things stand now, not where they started.
